Professional IT Services

Professional IT services, from first plan to final handoff.

Cloud migrations, server replacements, office moves and new locations, scoped in writing and delivered by engineers who work in Southwest Oregon. The scope you approve is the scope you get.

Whatever it takes for whatever is next. Not a managed client? Projects stand on their own. Every one starts with a written scope and ends with documentation you keep.

When projects start

Most IT projects start with a date you did not choose.

A lease ends. A server stops getting updates. Someone important gives notice. The projects that matter rarely arrive on your schedule, which is exactly why the planning has to.

A server reaching end of life

Out of warranty, out of updates and still running payroll.

Windows 10 on paid extended support

Every year it gets more expensive to stand still. What it costs

Moving or opening an office

Cabling, network, phones and printers live on the first morning.

Moving to Microsoft 365

Mailboxes, shared drives and permissions, moved without a lost weekend.

A team going remote or hybrid

Secure access that works as well from a kitchen table as from the office.

An acquisition or a second location

Two networks, two sets of accounts, one business to run.

Your IT person is leaving

Documenting what only one person knew, before their last day.

An audit or insurance requirement

Controls with a deadline attached and the evidence to prove them.

What we deliver

Six kinds of project we take on most.

Most engagements touch more than one. A server replacement usually becomes a conversation about the cloud, and a new office always involves the network.

Datacenter services

Server and storage infrastructure that fits how your business works, instead of forcing workflows down restrictive paths that pile up technical debt.

Cloud services

A move to the cloud changes how you do business, not just where the servers live. We plan for both, and tell you when a workload is better off staying put.

IT project management

Every project starts with the end goal, a timeline and a budget, and one person accountable for holding all three together.

Remote workplace

Secure work-from-home and hybrid access your staff can use at any skill level, without a support call every Monday.

Networks and security

Infrastructure designed security-first and built to industry best practice, so the network you get is the one you can defend.

Application migrations

Workloads moved to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform, planned so the cutover is the uneventful part.

How a project runs

Planned before it is priced. Documented before it is done.

A project can be one-off and still be comprehensive. Scope can run from planning and strategy through design, implementation, adoption and training, and on into ongoing support.

The order never changes, whatever the size. That is what keeps a contained job contained and a large one on budget.

The scope you approve is the scope you get.

If something changes mid-project, the change is written up and approved before work continues. Not reconciled on the final invoice.

01

Discover

We walk the environment and learn what the business needs the project to accomplish, not only what needs installing.

02

Scope

A written scope covering deliverables, timeline and price. Nothing starts until you approve it.

03

Design

The technical plan, including a rollback path, so a bad night stays recoverable.

04

Implement

Built, tested and cut over on a schedule that protects your business hours.

05

Adopt and train

Training and follow-up, because buying the system is the easy half. Using it is the half that pays.

06

Hand off

Documentation you keep. Ongoing support for what we built, if you want it.

Infrastructure

We engineer infrastructure for where your workloads actually belong.

We create, migrate and deploy workloads across public clouds, data centers and edge locations. The approach combines technical, operational and financial judgment, so the design runs efficiently, securely and reliably, and costs what you expected it to.

Not everything belongs in the cloud. Some workloads are cheaper and faster on a server in your own building. We will say so, even when the cloud answer would be the larger project.

Public cloud

Azure, AWS, Google Cloud

Scalable workloads, remote access and the Microsoft 365 environment many businesses already run on.

Your data center

On premises

Servers and storage you own, for workloads that need local speed, predictable cost or data that stays in the building.

Edge locations

Branch and field

Branch offices, plant floors and remote sites that need to keep working when the connection back to headquarters does not.

Project size

One server or every site you run.

No project is too big or too small. The scale changes. The process does not.

Contained

  • Replace a single server
  • Upgrade a firewall
  • Clean up a Microsoft 365 tenant

Multi-phase

  • Move or open an office
  • Migrate email and files to the cloud
  • Roll out new devices company-wide

Organization-wide

  • Consolidate multiple locations
  • Rebuild infrastructure end to end
  • Integrate an acquired business

Same discovery, same written scope, same handoff at every size.

Projects and managed IT

Projects stand on their own. They go further on a roadmap.

You do not need to be a managed client to hire us for a project. Scope it, approve it and we deliver it.

For managed IT clients, though, most projects are not surprises. They come off the technology roadmap your account manager builds with you, planned and budgeted a year ahead and delivered by the team that already knows your environment.

Project only

Scoped, delivered and documented. You own the result and the paperwork that explains it.

Project plus support

After handoff, we stay on for the systems we built, so the people who designed it are the people who maintain it.

Projects on a managed roadmap

Planned in advance, budgeted before they are needed and delivered by engineers who already know how your business runs.

Common questions

Before you scope it.

How is a project priced?

Against a written scope, after discovery. You see deliverables, timeline and price before anything starts. If something changes partway through, the change is written up and approved before work continues, so the final invoice matches what you signed off on.

Do we have to be a managed IT client?

No. Projects stand on their own. Plenty of businesses hire us for a single migration or an office move and never need anything else. If you do want support afterward, that option is there.

We have an internal IT person. Can you still run the project?

Yes. Your internal contact stays the day-to-day point of coordination, and we handle the design, the heavy lifting and the documentation. You end up with a working environment and a written record of how it was built.

How do you keep downtime down during a cutover?

Cutovers are scheduled outside your business hours wherever possible, and every design includes a rollback path. If something does not behave, we can return to the previous state rather than improvise at two in the morning.

Do you work with AWS and Google Cloud, or only Microsoft?

All three. The recommendation follows the workload. Many businesses already run on Microsoft 365, which often makes Azure the natural extension, but that is a starting point rather than a rule.

What if we are not sure what the project should be?

That is usually where the most useful work happens. A free assessment tells you what you have, what is at risk and what order to tackle it in, before you commit to anything.
